Printer sharing stoped totally

My machine that has a shared printer connected to it suddenly stopped working. One moment it was visible on the network, the next it was gone. I hadn't attempted to print a document, or changed anything beforehand. The computer doesn't even show up on any of my other machines. I have restarted all machines involved.

Any ideas?

BTW. . . All my machines are running 8.04, the printer specs are sort of irrelevant, as no other sharing service is functioning either. . .

Update: I can access the computer via VNC, but not SAMBA. . . How can I fix SAMBA?
