    Looking for diary application

I'm looking for a good application to manage my school diary in. There should be convinient interface to write my homework that connected to especial date. In other words, like simple school diary. I've looked around, but I can't find such an application.

    Thanks!

Tomboy Notes (located in accessories under applications) has a cool feature called "Notebook". So you can put all your school notes into that "Notebook" and they will all be dated and labeled for you. I know I'll be using this one a lot for this semester at school. Give it a try.

I don't know if this is exactly what you want, but you could give Basket Notepads a try. It's a KDE package, but it's pretty useful if you want to keep stuff organized. It pretty much offers you baskets where you pull images into, different files and type text. A lot more stuff I haven't tried out. It's available in Synaptic, just search for basket.

    Here's the homepage

Another you program you could try, is Rainlendar it's a customizable desktop calendar. It has 3 windows, the calendar an events windows (which shows you what coming up) and a to do list. It's pretty easy to use, and it doesn't look that bad.

Here's the homepage, they offer the file as a .deb so just dload and right click and open with Gdebi Package Manager.

There is also korganizer which is another kde app, but works in gnome with no problems.

You could also try this diary/journal program: RedNotebook

    http://rednotebook.sourceforge.net/

RedNotebook is a desktop diary that is very simple to use, yet probably has all the features you need. And it even looks good
