How to compleetely get rid of wine

So i tried to uninstall Wine, i even did --purge when i uninstalled, but for some reason when i go to applications, it is still in there. It does not have the wine glass symbol, just a regular folder, and it goes straight to the programs. Is there any way to completely uninstall wine and all of the programs that i have previously installed?

you can use synaptic or command line with the -purge/completely remove option. that will completely remove it. Then just use System>Main menu to delete the menu entry. Job Done
