Linksys WMP54GS

Hi, i am new on Ubuntu. I installed Ubuntu 2 days ago and using wireless internet on my machine but don't know how to connect

its working fine with xp because i have WMP54GS driver but on ubuntu , Also i don't see option for windows wireless driver too

please help me

With those instructions I installed the Windows driver (WMP54GS.inf) using ndiswrapper and the system recognized the wireless card and was capable of see the available networks however I couldn't connect... Then I applied the solution in this thread:

And everything worked fine... I was lucky as I could make it work within a day finding the proper postings. Please note that you dont need to do step 2 in last thread as you will have the driver already installed (you are going to double check that with the output of the first command in step 3.

I hope it helps, the first thing I have done after getting my computer on line has been to write this.
