    Nvidia 8600gt

    I just installed the 8600gt and the card works with ubuntu. it's just that it seems none of the drivers work. Envy does not work, when i use that it runs in low-graphics mode. the restricted driver makes it work only at 640x480. Only the generic VGEA driver allows me to run at 800x600. Does anyone know what i can do so i can run at 1280x1024. Thnx for any help.

    First, uninstall envy, then System > Administration > Hardware Drivers.
