    VLC Sound Broken

    For some reason, my VLC broke yesterday. I did an update, but (silly me) I didn't check exactly what was updated. All other sound works (system sounds, mp3s through Audacious, Realmedia through Realplayer... Just VLC is broken, and for both video and audio. What can I do to troubleshoot this?

    Well, you can try a remove and reinstall, maybe that does the trick?
