Will it ever be able to do a normal install?

Basically, will Wubi ever be able to fully install Ubuntu (not within Windows)?

The reason why I ask is because the UI when installing for a Windows user and a Linux newbie makes things a lot easier when installing to an already existing partition.

I dont think it will be able to do it all for you in one step.

You actually can do a full install but you need to put your mind and time into it...

Not necessarily in one step, but set out in a way for linux newbies? Its the main factor for me not wanting to do a full install.

I swear in the older version of the official site, it said it was in the planning stages, or somehting like that.

I dont think the current way is realy "Noob" friendly, I only have like 5 months in Ubuntu and I still feel loosy some times.

I think that is something Ubuntu should really work on, having features that pull in Windows users, but are eays to sue for them too, because lets face it, that's the majority of the market.
