    Diablo

Hi, I just installed ubuntu about a half a week ago, so I'm pretty new to it. Anyways, I wanted to try out a game on ubuntu, and I thought that the easiest one for it to play, might be Diablo.
It turned out I was wrong. I looked around the forum, and only found a thread where a guy ended up using VMware or something like that, which I do not intend to use.

So far, I've installed Diablo and I'm able to run it, but from when the game starts up, it seems like the screen is moved down by about 1/8 or so, everything seems fine. Actually when I use have compiz on and turn my cube/desktop and see the program out of the fullscreen, I can actually see the rest of it...

Does anyone have an idea for how to solve this?

    Re: Diablo

my best advise would be to turn off compiz when playing games. theres gotta be a thread out there that explains why.
