Finally, nearly 7 years post-release, some users have gotten Final Fantasy XI Online to work within WINE.
My sources at windower.net (FFXI windower tool) have found that the users have all gotten it to work through different means, and are now attempting to find a unified way of making it work within WINE.
This is phenomenal news for me and other FFXI players who are Linux fans, as this (at least for me) is the final stumbling block on my way of switching 100% to Linux.
