Question [SOLVED] Cant get Nvidia driver installed or monitor detected

Greetings I'm fairly new to Linux and am having problems here especially with my graphics card and monitor.I have tried everthing it seems I like a challenge but I have searched and tried for hours . Everytime after I install the Nvidia driver and reboot whether it be through synaptic or envy I get a low graphics mode warning. I go through all the setup options it asks me and choose my monitor and the graphics card then click ok after that I get a blank screen and the monitor tells me frequency out of range Ive chosen generic lcd, plug and play, I have a gateway fpd2275w and there is a option for gateway and a 2200 model Ive picked that and still nothing.Im running right now hardy heron 8.04 my resolution 1280x1024 I've tried editing the xorg.conf manually and i get the same problem as above I have to go to recovery mode and fix xserver in order for it to boot correctly again. Ill include my xorg.conf it it will help, all these problems have occured it seems around the time i upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04.Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

I never figured it out so I just reinstalled with the 8.04 disk and everything works great now.
