    Angry problem in chess 3d mode

    hello, i type sudo aptitude install python-gtkglext1 in the terminal as well as the opengl to install and enable 3d mode in chess and it work but before the computer make the move the applications window displays nothing? is there a problem with my installation? help...

    I've always found the chess program included with Xubuntu to be a disaster. If you want 3D, you could try PyChess (sudo aptitude install pychess). If 3D still doesn't work, you might not have your graphics card properly set up.

    If you have the cash, Shredder Chess is crazy good. The online version is fun in hard mode.
