Hi!
I just installed Ubuntu 8.04 for first time and everything works perfect (wireless, printing etc...). However, I still need software that does the same job as iTunes for my iPod and also some sort of .dwg viewer for AutoCad files.
Thanks

Try this:
open Synaptic Package Manager, click Search enter Ipod in the field, then wait. You will see displayed a number of ipod tools.

the built in music player, Rhythmbox, is a good replacement. it manages music well and also allows you to add and delete songs from your iPod. it should automatically detect and configure the iPod when you plug it in... if it doesn't, open op rhythmbox manually and see if it's listed in the pane on the left hand side.
