runescape hd

hello,

I am trying to run a game called runescape ( http://www.runescape.com/).
It is a game which relies on java as it is runs in browser. When i run it in hd mode it is all white and is unusable. This is my java version

java --version-
java version "1.5.0"
gij (GNU libgcj) version 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu6)

graphics card-

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)


Do i need to update java ? or even graphics card ?

I haven't played runescape in about 2 years, and just tried it again, and had the same problem...

install the sun-java6-plugin along with the associated dependencies. Then uninstall gij.

Yeah, the "HD" mode works fine for me. I am using Sun Java.

If you still are having issues, post back here and I will see what I can do to help.
