Maybe you've read the idea at Brainstorm(http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/9810/) to start a website where people can look for vacant roles within the Ubuntu Community and where people can post them.
Currently the idea is slowly starting up and we need to have a discussion about the details before we can start.
An announcement was sent do the ubuntu-wesbite mailist, where already quite some discussion about this idea was held and some people volunteered to help. You can find that announcement here:
https://lists.canonical.com/archives...st/000304.html
The only one who replied was Nicolas Deschildre, but he was the one suggesting the IRC meeting at #ubuntu-website. Because there was no further response, we can't be sure what time to pick. So I place here a post too to ask you if you are:
-willing to help with the Ubuntu Wanted
-able to come online during:
Monday August the 25th, 2008 18, 19, 20 or 21 UTC
Tuesday August the 26th 2008 18, 19, 20 or 21 UTC
For me 18 UTC would be the best option, after 20 UTC it would be a bit tricky to get to the meeting. The meeting will be held at #ubuntu-website.
We won't discuss a lot of fundamental matters during the discussion. It's mostly meant to see who wants to help, discuss the technical details and solve the problems and start to divide the tasks.
