Won't boot after dropping my laptop
Yesterday, I tripped over a cord and pulled my T43p Lenovo laptop off my desk unto the floor.
This computer is a dual boot system with MSWindows and the latest version of Ubuntu.
I was using Ubuntu at the time of the accident and the computer seemed to continue to function normally. I shut the computer down last night. When I tried to boot into Ubuntu, I as able to get X to start but then the system hangs. I do not get the cursor or the login screen.
I am able to log into and use MSWindows without difficulties.
I am also able to log into the recovery section of Ubuntu and get to a root prompt.
How do you suggest I proceed now?
