I'm installing Kubuntu, and the Kernel Freezes at 28%.
I have an OSless computer that I have had ubuntu on before, however, I had a bad install and it wiped my computer. Now I'm trying to get it to work from a Windows Vista, by burning the iso to a CD. The first time I tried, it froze at 21%. The second time, it froze at 21%. I made a new cd with the same iso, and it freezes at 28%. Should I just download a new iso and try again? What write speed should I write it at? I've been writing at maximum speed, but I think I saw write somwhere to write at the 3rd speed.
In advanced, thanks.
