Stand back friends, as I reveal myself to be the biggest linux newbie ever!
I really want to upgrade to Hardy from Gutsy, and I'd like to carry it out without the Live CD (preferably). Given all the problems that Feisty had upgrading to Gutsy (i.e. not installing the packages), I was wondering if those problems still persist. Mainly, I'd like to ask if there were any transitional bugaboos in the process. I'm going to back everything up anyway, so that's at least a given for me.
Any advice on this is greatly appreciated!
Edit: crap, the title I entered made it look like I had a problem with installing when I haven't done it yet...sorry!
