How to Reinstall GRUB?

How do i reinstall it????? im trying to add Windows 2000 just look at my other thread about Cant Save Editied Menu.lst to see!


But please Tell me how to Reinstall GRUB!

Why don't you use Supergrubdisk, it will do everything automatically. Here is the link. Good luck!

I'm not sure how this works on Kubuntu but I assume its the same in Ubuntu
Just put the live disk in, open a terminal and type sudo grub. After that, type root (hd(hd number for example if its your first hd type hd0),(partition that grub is on which is probably the first partition in which case you type 0 again) (root hd(0,0)), then type setup (hd0) or whatever your harddisk number is.
