[SOLVED] How to reset/reconfigure my network/broadband connection

Hi,

I was trying to get VPN facility in Ubuntu 8.0. During this process however, it seems my broadband/network settings has been corrupted.

Now I could not be able to connect the internet.

I connect thru broad band connection which works correctly in Windows.

Please help to restore my original broadband/network connection

The ethnernet Connection Setting was wrong. It was wrongly set to STATIC IP . I changed to to automatic DHCP. It started working perfectly fine.

This was due to the reason I reinstalled the Networkmanager package which took the original configuration.
