    Change PDF printer destination

Is there an easy way to change where PDFs are stored when printing with the PDF printer? I want them to go to the desktop.

Also, is there a way to choose the filename before it's saved? At least when there's already a file with the exact same name.

To change the PDF destination directory, follow the procedure outlined in post 8 in the following thread:

You can configure cups-pdf to prompt for a file name by way of the cups-pdf postprocessing function. The procedure--which takes some work--is explained in the following threads:

Thank you very much. It seems I should've searched a bit better.
