sony vaio vgn s360 laptop issues

can't create images from them, actually.

rigth clicking on CD icon shown on desktop, then selecting copy disc delivers an image file. same thing on gnome baker, however there's a problem on sector (i suppose one of the last it copies, since progress bar gets stuck near the end). of course, i tried different discs, it happens as well. error from GnomeBaker log:
