I've never had roo sausages before, but I've had tail (done on a campfire) and roo steak before. It's actually tasty IMO.

At my old home town (a place called Kempsey on the mid-north coast of NSW), we had a pie shop called Fredo Pies. They were actually semi-famous for making all sorts of unusual pies there. I'm pretty sure they had a roo pie but the one that I remember the most was their croc pie.

Yeah I tried a little bit of goanna once (actually bungara). Wasn't enough to go around though. In this part of the world we call it "biawak". Here's a photo of one in my back yard (taken last week)...
