    [SOLVED] how to burn an iso

    I been searching but I can't find it, sorry.
    How do I just burn an .iso dvd image to disc?
    I used to know how, but can't seem to figure it out anymore.
    I have ubuntu 7.1 on a gateway 500gr

    Well, you should be able to use Brasero under your applications menu. Choose the "Burn CD/DVD Image" option and then use the file chooser dialog to select the iso you're gonna burn.

    don't member on 7.10 in 8,04 you just right click and hit burn image to disk maybe if you install brasero burning rom that'll give you the option.

    Yeah Brasero is what you're looking for or k3b, both apps will let you burn iso files.

    thanks guys, seems to have worked


    I can't believe I had to use hunt down my live-disc of ubuntu just to burn an iso of iatkos, my windows computer is just doing terrible these days. When I put blank discs in to burn it just sits there trying to read them and my os bogs down. i gotta wipe it and reinstall. soon
