Is there a way to not get kde updates?

I use gnome and have no need for the kde updates that are beginning to pile up in update manager. Is there a way that I can block them? Thanks

You can uninstall the KDE libraries in Synaptic, but you need them if you run some KDE apps, like amarok or maybe a game
