    No sound in Skype

I've googled and googled, it used to work fine, but I just reinstalled and now it doesn't. I can't get playback or sound capture, infact Pulse doesn't register my mic (it does work and as far as I can tell, it's turned on). I've searched but all I get is stuff for ALSA which won't work. Is there a way I can revert back to ALSA, ALSA was a pain, but I atleast knew how to work it. Pulse is a pain, and I don't know how to work it...

    Anyone got any ideas?

Why not removing pulse and installing alsa ?
Don't use the command Rm -rf if you don't fully know what you are doing it can seriously damage ur system

How? Last I heard it couldn't be done but that was several months ago and it may have been bad info.
