I have a dualboot pc, Windows and Ubuntu. One problem is the internet. At the moment windows is being used for internet but im wishing to use Ubuntu for everthing espicially the internet.
The internet on Ubuntu is extremely slow, can load up google in no problem, and search in no problem but opening up any other page is extremely slow and dosnt actually load up the page.
However windows internet is running superb! I want ubuntu running superb!
I need help setting up my connection or help with the connection. I am using wired broadband connection through a lan hub.
Using hardy heron 8.04 (Installed from Live CD)
Also note, i cant do anything on the internet on Ubuntu, so i cant download files through ubuntu or get updates through Ubuntu.
Please help!
