Generic Ubuntus 2.6.12 K7 kernel.
Maybe I'll fiddle with creating mine this weekend.

I followed the vanilla kernel compilation howto and upgraded to 2.6.16.20-i386. I don't know how to compile for k7 yet.
All peripherals working, no hanging up on booting.
I was surprised it worked off the bat since on Breezy any new kernel I built never seemed to work.
Not sure how much quicker it is compare to 2.6.15...seems about the same to me.
