Just wanted to let you know:

I have a Linksys WUSB54G Wireless adapter that has refused to get an IP on boot from my router (it's running using V1 Windows XP Drivers via ndiswrapper).

I just put in the "bad_list" fix and rebooted and it got it's address!

    Thanks!!!

I notice you have "ivp6" and "ipv6" ...is that a typo?
Which should it be, or is it both just as it appears.

I could be wrong, but I think perhaps if you have no apps that require
or use ipv6 then it gets shut off automatically.

The reason I say that is because this box is a relatively fresh install, and I haven't
messed around with the modules.d yet. However I have switched off ipv6 in Firefoxs
    about:config and when I did `ip a | grep inet6` it shows nothing.

Also, my network is very responsive.

Re: How-To: Disable IPV6 to speed up Internet.

Can someone help me? I just did a fresh install of Breezy. I cannot create a bad_list file.

Also when i try to open the aliases file it opens as read only, I tried doing the old windows trick to change permissions but it's says I'm not the owner. I'm the only account on the computer how can I not be the owner?

    What do I do?

So from what I think I picked out of this, if ipv6 is affecting your connection, it would cause a 'significant' delay or time out, rather than a cummulative lagging of every connection? Or does it cause a low percentage of lag for every online operation you make? Sounds like I should just keep it on rather than disable.
