Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone could share a little insight on why I might be experiencing such a low frame rate in CSS on my Gateway P-6831 FX. Im running a brand new installation of Hardy with Wine 1.0. No compiz installed. I normally get 100fps on vista.
Heres my specs:
Core 2 Duo T5450 (1.8GHz 2MB 667FSB)
NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTS 512MB
250GB 5400RPM 8MB Cache
3GB DDR2-667
It says it has the nvidia proprietary driver installed but it doesn't physically say the GeForce 8800. Im thinking that might be my problem? Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!
