    Unhappy is it possibe to put a video by default right after the login screen?

    hi everyone,
    taken that linux is supposd to be costomizable, i was wondering if there is any possible easy way to put i video fullscreen right after i login, and when the video is over, have it close by default. is that possible?
    like, a welcome video, and replace the default ubuntu sound? ubuntu 8.04 btw
    i know it may be alot to ask, but.....

    This is great idea! It is certainly possible. You have to add
    Code:
    mplayer -fs videoname.avi
    as a command to the list of programs that start at login. Unfortunately I don't use Gnome right now, but someone here should be able to tell you where to put this command.
