    How to hard-code wireless ipaddress

I would like to hard code my wireless ip address for dynamic dns. the manuel config on the wireless option looked intimidating, and had more options than i cared for. is there an easy way to just tell it what ip-address i want it use when connect to my router? Thanks

WICD makes doing what you're trying to do a lot easier. Here's a screen shot of the Advanced Settings (for wireless connections):

You can set static IP addresses and DNS servers for each particular connection, and you can set Glocal DNS servers for all connections in the Preferences screen:

You can get WICD at http://wicd.sourceforge.net/
