Intel D915PGN 915P -- good board for a Linux box?
I think I've spotted what sounds like a good motherboard for a Linux box at an unbeatable price. Can anyone confirm or deny this for me? It's an Intel D915PGN 915P, and the full scoop on it is at http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?inv...N-BULK&cat=MBB
Furthermore, both it and my current board (one with that stupid SiS chipset) take a 775-pin CPU, so it sounds like I should be able to just move my current CPU and fan to the new board.
If y'all think this sounds like a good bet, I may very well buy it real soon, as I have a little time off from work next week to install it, not to mention the price is only ONE-THIRD of what I paid for a tank of gas here while back, which was $88.00, which is the most I've ever paid for a tank of gas in my life.
What do y'all think?
