cannt hear sound

i cannt hear sound when i play my songs or movies from my hard drive. i can hear the sound from youtube

Try

killall pulseaudio

then restart your browser.

i can hear the online streaming songs but when it comes to songs which i have in my hard drive i cannt hear!

sudo apt-get install libflashsupport

still i cannt hear the sound from computer... sound from the internet works fine.

Try closing your browser and see if you can then hear the sound from your music files.
