i've managed to block news.softpedia.com in my hosts file, but i read it's based on Automatix code. i wonder if there'll be any flame wars

what's the url? does it have a home page? i can't find it.

Cool, another Hoosier!

Maybe this should be merged with the "Flame War" thread. Although I did notice some cool things about Ultimatix, such as the games that it can install that aren't in the repos.

I would say use it in virtualbox install or install k/ubuntu to a spare testing partition and play around there with it.

Or download ultimate linux, their distro and test that out:

I cant see the ubuntu devs being too happy with ultamatix installing stuff from 3rd party repos again, then later breaking dist-upgrade to Intrepid Ibis, but I may be wrong

Hey look someone is using my code for a new Automatix, I hope they keep my name in the credits since they are obviously still at least using my user interface. BTW we did not sell out Automatix to anyone, we just got to busy to keep the project up.
