Ubuntu from Xubuntu

Hello.

I'm running xubuntu 8.04 and I want to install meta package ubuntu-desktop

Well, I need uninstall all xubuntu-desktop related packages.

Is there a way to do it?

How to find the xubuntu dependencies and purge all?

Not sure, but if you ran "apt-get autoremove" after removing xubuntu-desktop, it might do it.

You'd probably want ubuntu-desktop installed first though.
