    changing system name

    when i first installed ubuntu i had to specify a computer/system name, let's say i named it ubuntu1, but now i would like to change the name to a different one, how do i do that?

    enter this--
    Code:
    gksudo gedit /etc/hosts /etc/hostname
    then change your name(s), to what you want..

    You can do this using GUI as well

    System >> Administration >> Network
