I eventually figured out how to run the program I'm having trouble with (Labcenter Electronics Proteus Ares) in a terminal, and this is what I get:-

I have no idea what it all means, so I'm pretty much back where I started. Can anybody interpret this and/or tell me what, if anything, I can do about it, please?

Incidentally, this app worked fine in the last Wine version that I installed using Update Manager (can't remember which version it was). I'm currently running Wine 1.0

I can run the other app in the suite(Labcenter Electronics Proteus Isis) with no problem, although it does come up with some error messages when run in a terminal. Other apps I can run without any problems are:- Hardwood Solitaire, Hardwood Hearts, Morrowind, Cribbage Champion, PSU Designer II, TDSL Personal Edition 1.0, TSC 1.3 and Kyodai Mahjongg 10.21.

I haven't made any changes to Wine (I wouldn't know where to begin!).
