    Urgent Help needed stuck in installation

    Im installing Xubuntu 8.04 on a gateway computer that is about 7 years old it has 128 ram.
    Anyway im stuck at the orange screen with the heron on it and it ha been this way for almost an hour im installing from a live cd and i checked the cd for errors and it said that it was clear...could i get some help with this please.

    They say you need 192mb to install xubuntu with the live cd. So I would suggest trying the alternate cd which only requires you to have a min of 64mb and see how you go.

    The alternate cd is easy to install. The only problem you may get is if you need to partition the hard drive.
