Re: NIC buying advice
My rule of thumbs for NICs is that it needs to use intel chips. The intel drivers are the best out of all the chipsets in my opinion and they just work without any messing around adding new drivers and such. This doesnt mean that intel has to make the entire NIC but they have to make the main chip on the card. I usually end up just buying an intel card though because it requires less research on my part checking out the chips.
