    change tempo without changing pitch?

I would like to find a tool to change the speed of an audio file (foreign language audiobooks specifically) without altering the pitch. I thought audacity could do this but I installed the version in the repos and the 1.3.5 beta and there is only Change Speed in the effect menu, which also changes the pitch.

Even a command line too could work, but i'd rather have the option to preview the effect. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hmm, I would like to hear an answer to this as well. I could use this for figuring out guitar solos

I ended up installing an old version of audacity. for some reason the newest couple of versions had the feature removed.

What's the command line for this?

And why has it been removed from the new versions of Audacity? Would anyone mind fixing this? Or reporting it? (I don't know where I should report it, orelse I would have done it myself.)
