That looks like the Water Effect...

Enable it and have a look in it's settings.
I'll check back in a minute if I find it.

Open a terminal and press backspace...

Also, go into Wobbly Windows and enable "shiver" too.

That appears to get a satisfying pulsing of the windows...

As for other effects, I'm not too sure. I tend to only go light on my laptop (conserve power and all). But you may want to look it up in synaptic.

    [EDIT]
A search for "compiz plugins" brings up the following

    compiz-plugins
    compiz-fusion-plugins-main
    compiz-fusion-plugins-extras
    compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported

Perhaps installing them all will give you the effects you need..

Check the Blur plugins. Doing a quick search on Google mentioned something about it. Im at work, away from my Ubuntu machine, so I cant check first hand.

title wave makes water come out of the title bar when there is an error, like when you try to backspace when there is nothing in the text box.

Old thread I know but its close to what I was searching for in google. I'm curious is there a setting that will make the entire window cause a tidalwave rather than just the title bar alone?
