okay, so back to the point of this thread.

Once, I met a sysadmin who was having trouble getting a webserver to come online. Idiot forgot to open up port 80 for Apache to start working.
And a Minecraft Server admin claimed to run a better server than me, but he couldn't get it to work properly. Open up port 25565, n00b.

Exactly. Windows 7 is great for gaming, since it is obviously much better than OS X, and Ubuntu is finally catching up.
