    Opening TXT Files via Double-Click

Firstly, here's some background on this problem.

Now when I double-click on a TXT file, say /home/chris/example.txt, I get an error dialog that says:
    File 'ome/chris/example.txt' does not exist.

Do you want to create a new file?
Is this a bug with Wine? I thought I would ask before beginning the bug-report process.

    Thanks!

Any particular reason you want wine to open your *.txt files? What's wrong with Gedit/Kedit/Mousepad?

I didn't know Gedit could handle TXT, as explained in the other thread.

But I would still like to know whose bug this is. If it's just Wine Notepad's, I don't suppose it matters much - but then that defeats the purpose of including it with Wine in the first place.

Yeah, Gedit can handle .txt files. There isn't anything special about them, just an extension.
