Would buy a new smartphone to install ubuntu

Hello I'm planning to buy a new smartphone to use it via native ubuntu. Is there any tutorial on how to do it and restore option back to factory settings (including OS)? Will this phone be good enough?

Will Ubuntu phone be free to use with any GSM / 3G / 4G chip?

    Shameless bump.

I would like to know of a cheap dual core processor that would enable me to have ubuntu in it natively installed.

I've heard that it's like an emulator, so basic android features would still work as a phone when you get phone calls and stuff. Any news?

No one here (or anywhere else, for that matter) can tell you with any certainty when a smartphone running Ubuntu natively is going to be available.

And, Canonical has made it clear that they are NOT going to release an installable version of Ubuntu for Android to the general public.

If you know which Android phone you want to use, my suggestion is to go to the Android forums, and to the Phandroid forums, and look through their sections for those dealing with your selected model phone. They often have sections dealing with Rooting phones, and you might find something useful there.
    Ubuntu 20.04, Mint 19.10; MS Win10 Pro.
