A couple of modification for remastering a distro
I want to remaster ubuntu to a distro which will interest people who live in my country and are newbie to linux. At present, I just want to perform some pretty simple work like modifying graphical features of ubuntu. But now the most important problem for me is to remove the menu item “About Ubuntu” from “System” menu and add my own about menu item, but it can't be deleted nor edited by menu editor of Gnome and I couldn't find any help with a file which gathers information of Main Menu.
Are that menu item and documents of it added by installing a package or Canonical has its own customized Gnome with this embedded menu item?
btw, Which computer program do you think is better for my purpose? Reconstructor, Remastersys or UCK?
