I have a logitech wireless mouse and it pisses me off. It allways cuts out and I have to unplug it and plug it in again.

Wired
You don't have to worry about batteries or recharging it, and it is much more reliable. I would say the same for networking. I dislike my wireless network because it has brainfarts every once and a while, wired always works.

Wired, and that goes for everything. Wireless just adds another unreliability aspect, so I only do it if necessary, such as networking on a laptop. All my mice are wired and cost about 2 quid each
Well from what I've heard wireless mice eats batteries and has too high latency for gaming, so wired for me.
Don't peach linux. Melon it!
Wired
I really don't care either way. I have an MX1000 that I have yet to use with Ubuntu (mainly because my brother and I share a charger for it and I am gone at school most of the year) which I love to death, and an MX400 wired which I use with my lappy. Either way, what really matters to me is having a mouse that fits my hand well. Those tiny travel sized mice are just too damn small for my big hands.

wired all the way. wireless peripherals need to be recharged or have their batteries replaced so often, the benefit isn't worth the hassle.
I use wired, i had a wireless mouse about 4 or 5 years ago, but i didnt like it.

Well for mouse, I prefer wired. But in the networking part, it doesn't matter to me since both wired and wireless are very reliable for me.
