Wirelesss issues

Hi, I just installed Ubuntu Hardy in a Compaq presario c320. everything is working fine but the wireless. When I go to Network configuration it shows that wireless is enaabled but when I try to use it is not working (note that the wireless led is not indicating that is on, besides, it looks that it is not working, no matter how many times I push it, it wont turn on) please giive a little help here !!! thanks in advance

please give us some details about your hardware and please post the output of lspci.
