My graphics card, an ATI radeon 9500 has gone to graphicscardheaven
With this card 3d acceleeration and Compiz worked fine in Hardy.
I replaced this card with an ATI Radeon HD2600 pro agp. (RV630)
Now when using the restricted driver the screen goes black after startup and before the login.
When I use the command
the restricted driver is uninstalled and the xorg.conf looks like this:Code:sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

I also reinstalled Hardy from scratch but that didn't help.
