    Switching Workplace Shortcuts

    Hey,

I just established a shortcut for switching to the first two workplaces, but I have four established. The system->preference->keyboard shortcuts doesn't have an option for a 3+ workplaces. Is there anyway to configure a shortcut for more?

    Thanks,

    - John

Doesn't Ctrl+Alt+[Left], [Right], [Up] and [Down] work for you?
Those are the keys you would normally use to navigate round.

I'd rather have a shortcut to the exact window instead of doing an alt-tab style navigation.

Current I have "alt-1" set to the first window, "alt-2" set to the second, and it works nicely.

    Re: Switching Workplace Shortcuts

Go into your compiz settings (System>Preferences>Advnced Desktop Effect Settings), if you don't have it installed
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
Under Desktop section, you'll see a plugin called "Viewswitch Porter".

Enable it, and enter the settings for it. In the second config tab (Go to specific viewport), set your keyboard shortcut for each workspace in there.

    Regards
    Iain
