Prepare your flame-resistant clothing!
A visit to www.cosumer.org.nz today revealed that an attack by a worm had messed up several of their web pages. They had a link to a report which, amongst other things, reckoned ubuntu 7.10 performed poorly in some of their security tests. Kinda spoilt their credibiility when you realise that:
(a) *nix is generally more secure than Windows,
(b) they had suffered attack which had resulted in damage to their system and
(c) the version of Ubuntu they'd tested isn't the latest......
